Elementary School Programs 

Short Story Time  

   Saturdays 10-10:45 a.m. (Grades 4-6)

Saturdays 9-9:45 a.m. (Grades 1-3)

Children will be immersed in a fantabulous selection of short stories. After a little literary enlightenment, participants will get creative with our famous Three-Word Challenge to write and illustrate their own short story to share. Cost is $5 per session

General Math Skills      

Saturdays 11-11:45 a.m. (Grades 4-6)

Saturdays 8-8:45 a.m. (Grades 1-3)

With FSAs on the way, it would be most beneficial to hone those basic math skills. We will help your child improve skills and gain confidence. Cost: $5.

Space Cadets    

      Fridays 5:00-5:45 p.m. (Grades 4-6)

 This club is for children with an interest in Space History and Exploration. Cost: $5

Middle School Programs 

   Civics Boot Camp      

Wednesdays 6:00-7:30 p.m.

This class is intended for 7th-graders who are preparing to take the Florida End-of-Course Exam in May. The EOC counts for 30% of the students’ final grade. A long-time social studies teacher will reinforce the Civics Benchmarks. Cost: $5.

Essay Writing

Wednesdays 5:15-6:00 p.m.

 With FSAs on the way, it would be most beneficial to hone those basic math skills. We will help your child improve skills and gain confidence. Cost: $5.   

Motivational Monday      

Mondays 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Middle school students are invited to come in for guidance and inspiration to get them through the week. We will organize backpacks, help with time management, ad chat about assignments, curriculum and goals. Cost: $5 per session.

High School Programs 

 

Fistful of News      

Tuesdays 6:30-8 p.m.

This session is intended for high school students. Join us for a look at talk-worthy stories of the week. This is an opportunity to learn more and talk about world events - from politics to human rights. This class is facilitated by a former journalist and long-time Social Studies teacher. Cost:$5 per session.
